My name is Karol and my husband and I have recently relocated to a really nice spot northwest of the Houston area. We will still call it the heart of Texas even though it is a bit east of center. :) We are native Texans, both Aggies (that means we graduated from Texas A&M), and we have three wonderful sons that are also Aggies. We lived in this area a number of years ago and have spent the last 7 years in the center of the state a bit north of the Austin area. Now we feel as if we've come home. We live on 23 acres, complete with Longhorn cattle and a wonderful pond for fishing. I was a school teacher for a number of years, teaching Special Education and my husband has been a banker for over 20 years. I decided about 8 years ago, to be a stay at home mom and now that we are empty nesters, we have dogs! I spend alot of time doing volunteer work, but also spend much of my time at home tending to things around here and taking care of the dog part of the family.
